Way Too Soon

We lost a dear friend and very special member of the family today. After spendingPat_karrh
the last two weeks unconscious in a San Antonio hospital, Pat Karrh went to be with the Lord this morning.

Pat and her husband, Larry, are known as Nana and Dado to our granddaughter Jordan and grandson Landon. Pat leaves behind her generous, hardworking, and remarkable physician-husband, Dr. Larry Karrh, as well as daughter Kristin, son (and our son-in-law) Kevin and wife Jill (our daughter), as well as daugher Kara and her husband, Mark.

There is no way to express the grief and sadness we feel about losing Pat. I can’t imagine losing her so soon. And feel overwhelming sadness that Jordan won’t be able to feed the cows and horses with Nana, make cookies, go shopping, or even to Sonic without Nana. Landon, at just over 15 months knew Nana a little less, but was already learning how special she could be.

As a husband, father, and grandfather to the same children, I cannot fathom Larry’s loss. It doesn’t seem possible that there will be a Larry without a Pat. They were an absolutely extraordinary team.

Once again, we are reminded that we carry our treasured and eternal souls in very fragile earthen vessels.
