Sorry that it’s been so long since my last posting. Life is moving quickly . . . and I’m not! Got very good news on June 1 – my latest PET/CT scans show me cancer free! Praise God for the good news. Thank you for your prayers and care.
Another important milestone since my last post: Sammie, our wonderful German Shepherd mix dog of the last 12 years, was suddenly visibly sick. A nighttime trip to the emergency pet clinic revealed a very large, presumably cancerous tumor. As Jennie and I made the difficult decision to put her down, there were lots of tears. She was not just the family dog, she was the proverbial faithful friend. We really miss her wagging tail and excitement when we return home.
